- All graduates participating in Commencement ceremonies are eligible to receive up to four (4) guest tickets for the OneMIT Ceremony in Killian Court.
- Those receiving Bachelor’s degrees will be eligible to receive up to four (4) guest tickets for the Undergraduate Ceremony.
- Guest ticket information for the Advanced Degree Ceremonies will be found on the individual School/College ceremony pages.
- Tickets are electronic and will be released to participating candidates at the end of May. Instructions for claiming tickets will be emailed to graduates at that time.
Ticket transfer
Those who have extra tickets may transfer them to someone who needs them. Do not sell them. MIT policy is that no tickets for MIT Commencement ceremonies may be bought or sold under any circumstances. Individuals known to have accepted or given payment for Commencement tickets risk revocation of all electronic tickets assigned to them, whether or not those tickets remain in their possession, and may be subject to discipline. Degree candidates are required to attest during the ticketing process that they will not buy or sell MIT Commencement tickets.
Viewing locations
On-campus, indoor viewing locations will be available during the OneMIT Ceremony and the Undergraduate Ceremony. These venues are an excellent option for guests who either prefer to sit indoors or do not have tickets to enter the ceremony venue. No tickets are required for the indoor viewing locations; seating is open. Locations will be posted in late May.
Webcasts
All Commencement ceremonies will also be webcast live, with recordings available afterwards.
