MIT's 2025 Commencement activities will take place during the same week as Harvard's, making driving and parking in Cambridge even more difficult than normal.

Service animals are always welcome at MIT. If you are requesting tickets for the Disabilities sections, it is helpful, though not essential, to let us know at that time that your family will be accompanied by a service animal. No, MIT does not reserve blocks of hotel rooms for Commencement.
We recommend reaching out to hotels as early as possible to find out about availability and to make a reservation. The Accommodations page has the list of MIT’s preferred hotel partners. Some of these hotels offer discounts while others consider Commencement week a blackout time due to demand. Please contact the hotels directly for pricing information.
Yes! The MIT GUEST wireless network is provided to visitors for short term use. This network is not encrypted and has limited access to the internet and MIT resources.

Yes, we have a lactation and infant changing tent in Killian Court.
Strollers must be left in the stroller corral. However, you may take the child to the seat in the stroller, then ask a guest services representative for help in removing the stroller once you are settled.
